What We Evaluate
ADHD and executive functioning; autism spectrum presentations; dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning disabilities; anxiety, depression, and mood concerns; giftedness and twice-exceptional profiles; memory and cognitive concerns; and complex, co-occurring diagnostic questions.

1. Clinical Intake by Secure Telehealth
After your inquiry and a discussion of the process, fees, and availability, choose whether to meet with Dr. Cindy John for a paid 60-minute clinical intake to review concerns, history, prior records, and the questions the evaluation needs to answer.
2. In-Person Testing in Mission Viejo
Most clients complete approximately four to five hours of individualized testing with Dr. John. The battery is selected for the referral question rather than forced into a one-size-fits-all package.
3. Feedback and a Written Roadmap
Dr. John explains the findings by telehealth, answers questions, and provides a detailed written report with diagnostic impressions when appropriate and practical recommendations for school, treatment, work, and home.
Two Licensed Psychologists. One Coordinated Evaluation.
Dr. John leads the intake, testing, interpretation, feedback, and report preparation. Dr. Colleen Long provides clinical-director consultation and quality review focused on diagnostic formulation, integration, and recommendations. This coordinated model brings two experienced psychologists’ judgment to complex cases while keeping the process personal and efficient.
Every Evaluation Includes
Clinical intake; individualized standardized testing; scoring and interpretation; review of relevant records and rating scales; a comprehensive written report; a dedicated feedback session; actionable recommendations; and a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Evaluation Options, with Guidance at Every Step
You do not need to choose a package yourself. Start with a secure inquiry to learn about the options and fees. Your clinician recommends the appropriate scope during the paid clinical intake.
Focused ADHD or Autism Diagnostic Evaluation — $3,250
For one primary diagnostic question when extensive academic achievement testing is not required.
Comprehensive or Combined Diagnostic Evaluation — $4,250
For overlapping concerns such as ADHD and autism, or when anxiety, mood, trauma, executive functioning, and other explanations must be carefully differentiated.
Psychoeducational, Learning Disability, or 2e Evaluation — $5,250
For cognitive and academic testing, dyslexia or dyscalculia questions, gifted or twice-exceptional profiles, and detailed school recommendations.
Every fee is confirmed before testing begins. Unusually complex records, rush timelines, or added consultation are discussed transparently in advance.

Common Questions
Do you accept insurance?
We are private pay and do not bill insurance directly. We provide a superbill that you may submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA funds may generally be used for eligible services; confirm with your plan administrator.
How quickly can we begin?
Scheduling availability varies. Submit a secure inquiry and our team will contact you about appropriate next steps and current timing.
Is testing in person or online?
The intake and feedback appointments are conducted by secure telehealth. Core testing is usually completed in person at our Mission Viejo office. Limited measures may be administered remotely when clinically appropriate.
Can the report support an IEP, 504 plan, or accommodations?
Our reports can provide diagnostic and functional information for schools, universities, physicians, therapists, employers, and testing organizations. Final decisions about eligibility or accommodations are made by the receiving institution.
