Our Psychological Testing Process
Step 1: 60-Minute Clinical Intake by Telehealth
Meet with Dr. Cindy John from home. She reviews the presenting concerns, developmental and clinical history, prior records, and the decisions the evaluation needs to inform. She then recommends the appropriate evaluation level and confirms the total fee before testing begins.
Step 2: Individualized Testing in Mission Viejo
Most clients complete approximately four to five hours of in-person testing with Dr. John. Measures are selected to answer the referral question and may assess attention, executive functioning, cognitive abilities, academic achievement, memory, emotional functioning, autism-related characteristics, or other relevant domains.
Step 3: Feedback, Report, and Next Steps by Telehealth
Dr. John reviews the findings with you in plain language and answers your questions. You receive a detailed written report with test results, diagnostic impressions when appropriate, and practical recommendations for school, treatment, work, and home.
Clinical-Director Quality Review
Dr. Colleen Long consults on diagnostic formulation, integration, and recommendations and reviews the report for clinical quality. This gives complex cases the benefit of two licensed psychologists’ judgment while preserving one coordinated client experience.
Current Fee Levels
Focused ADHD or autism evaluation: $3,250. Comprehensive or combined evaluation: $4,250. Psychoeducational, learning disability, or 2e evaluation: $5,250. Your recommended level and exact fee are confirmed during intake.
