PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION OPTIONS IN COLORADO
Understanding you, beyond a checklist.
If you are looking for an evaluation in Colorado, start with the decisions you hope to make afterward: support at school, a conversation with your treatment team, or a clearer understanding of yourself. We help clarify the questions before planning testing.
You do not need to choose a diagnosis or a testing package before reaching out.
Attention & organization
Questions about focus, follow-through, planning, or why daily responsibilities feel difficult.
Learning & school
Questions about learning patterns and what information could help guide educational support.
The bigger picture
Questions that overlap or do not fit neatly into one category. Your evaluation begins with what you want to understand.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Practical questions.
Can I complete my evaluation from home?
We review whether remote testing can appropriately answer your questions. Age, the type of assessment, and your testing environment all matter. If in-person testing is needed, we explain that before you book.
What will I need for a video appointment?
A private, quiet space and a reliable internet connection. For testing, plan on a computer with a camera and microphone. Your team will confirm equipment and preparation instructions for your specific assessment.
Can I ask about an evaluation for my child?
Yes. Use a parent or legal guardian’s contact details. We will review the child’s age and the questions you want answered before recommending a format. Keep medical records and detailed health history out of your initial inquiry.
Can I use the report to request school or workplace support?
An evaluation can provide findings and recommendations to inform those conversations. Tell us about any documentation requirements or deadlines before booking. The school, employer, or testing organization makes its own decisions; an evaluation does not guarantee accommodations.
Do you offer therapy or medication?
BonPsy provides evaluations, not ongoing therapy or prescriptions. Findings may help inform care with your treating providers.
Can I speak with someone before paying for intake?
Yes. A free 20-minute informational phone consultation with Dr. Long is available for questions the website has not answered. It does not replace clinical intake, provide a diagnosis, or reserve an appointment.
